Orçun Nurbay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alican Tellioğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Özgün Akkın's late challenge caught a Cayyolu JK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Özgün Akkın helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Bünyan getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Özgün Akkın hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mehmet Ferit Bürge in the 41st minute of play forced Cayyolu JK's goalkeeper Uluç Tunçöven to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Bünyan's zone, Alican Tellioğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Orçun Nurbay came out of the goal and Alican Tellioğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Bünyan's Gencalp Atikoğlu got a free kick in the 45th minute. Alican Tellioğlu had several of the Bünyan's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 47 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Orçun Nurbay as he didn't even see the shot coming. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alican Tellioğlu to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match Ziya Onur Şavat sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Orçun Nurbay skillfully saved the ball. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cayyolu JK's goalkeeper Uluç Tunçöven, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bünyan's Orçun Nurbay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Muzaffer Yunus in the 60th minute of play. After 64 played minutes Bünyan got a freekick which was hit by Mehmet Ferit Bürge. Uluç Tunçöven made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Mehmet Ferit Bürge sent off a good shot on target. Ramazan Turatekin kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Muzaffer Yunus in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Orçun Nurbay prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Orçun Nurbay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alican Tellioğlu in the 72nd minute of the match. 73 minutes into the game, Ramazan Turatekin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bünyan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cayyolu JK the free kick. A collision led to Bünyan getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Ramazan Turatekin hit a great ball. When Alican Tellioğlu came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Cayyolu JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alican Tellioğlu couldn't finish the play. Arda Ozan Togay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Uluç Tunçöven showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arda Ozan Togay in the 89th minute of the match. Mehmet Ferit Bürge could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Uluç Tunçöven made a huge save. Alican Tellioğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Orçun Nurbay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arda Ozan Togay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mehmet Ferit Bürge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cayyolu JK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
