The crowd rose to their feet as Kayseri Spor's Efekan Tavgaç slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Korhan Palabıyık. That made the score 2-0 after 15 minutes of play. Baha Önateş might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arslan Özdek. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Baha Önateş ran back to his position shaking his head. 21 minutes into the match, Ali Haydar Altınkaya had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arslan Özdek. Kayseri Spor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ali Haydar Altınkaya was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. 24 minutes into the match, Kayseri Spor's Efekan Tavgaç sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Korhan Palabıyık narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Arslan Özdek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 43 minutes of play, Alpaslan Spor Klübü's Ali Haydar Altınkaya made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. A collision led to Kayseri Spor getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Naim Tuncay hit a great ball. After 71 minutes, Boran Mutlu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kayseri Spor and the Alpaslan Spor Klübü players grew even worse after the yellow card. 73 minutes into the match, Kayseri Spor's goal looked a bit too open when Baha Önateş came free, but Arslan Özdek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Efekan Tavgaç's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Korhan Palabıyık was relentless in the 75th minute of the game.
