The goal made the score 1-0. Alaaddin Güleç fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Tolga Tokuş having to interfere. In the 17th minute Atıf Yengi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Tolga Tokuş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ahmet Tolga Tokuş made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atıf Yengi in the 18th minute of play. Ahmet Tolga Tokuş didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Okanay Zeyyat went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tayfun Çeliksu during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Tutak getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Tayfun Çeliksu hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 89 minutes into the match, Meydan Spor's goalkeeper Greger Sandström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ali Cafer Tuğlu. Through an outstanding action, after 93 minutes, Greger Sandström successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Nurkan Balkoç came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Tutak fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nurkan Balkoç couldn't finish the play. Meydan Spor's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
