The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but İlkan Taykoç showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Gürbüz Balcan fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Derbent's protests and gave Gürbüz Balcan a yellow card for diving instead. After recieving a nice pass, FenerbahçeThunderCity's Saadettin Kutsan tried to score from far away in the 31st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Ercüment Erengüç took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lütfü Sebil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Lütfü Sebil managed to get in a good position for a shot. Derbent's supporters rose to their feet, but Lütfü Sebil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ercüment Erengüç breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
Lütfü Sebil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ercüment Erengüç having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lütfi Onurad got free with Ercüment Erengüç in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ercüment Erengüç made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Lütfi Onurad sent off a good shot on target. In the 59th minute Lütfü Sebil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ercüment Erengüç saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th match minute, FenerbahçeThunderCity was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adnan Şenol to maneuver through the defense. Derbent's Lütfü Sebil got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Lütfü Sebil took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Ercüment Erengüç to make any attempt to save it. When Gürbüz Balcan was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 79 minutes had been played. Gürbüz Balcan hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Saadettin Kutsan, 80 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. A collision led to Derbent getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Doruk Cezri hit a great ball. In the 84th minute, Abdulvahit Cantürk ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. İlkan Taykoç was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. After having played for 87 minutes, Abdulvahit Cantürk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FenerbahçeThunderCity's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abdulvahit Cantürk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lütfi Onurad struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Ercüment Erengüç didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Derbent. Lütfi Onurad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Ercüment Erengüç tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Doruk Cezri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ercüment Erengüç having to interfere. Derbent's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
