Hazar Geylanoğullarından showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remzi Riva in the 31st minute of the match. After 33 played minutes Kurucasile got a freekick which was hit by Necdet İldeniz. Gezegen's Remzi Riva got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kamuran Atılay hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. After 44 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Kurucasile! After the first half Gezegen were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ataol Vecdet to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sezer Gelenbe during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
