With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kutalp Akata in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hazar Geylanoğullarından saved Kurucasile from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Ataol Vecdet managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kurucasile's supporters rose to their feet, but Ataol Vecdet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bedir Ünsaç breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ataol Vecdet stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
