When Rüstem Yeğrek came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Gezegen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rüstem Yeğrek couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Cemisgezek's zone, Rüstem Yeğrek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. An unexpected shot in the 27th minute by Onur Akdal got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When Remzi Riva came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Gezegen fans jumped to their feet. After 33 played minutes, Cemisgezek's Arın Ferhat Haşmetli shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mustafa Arif Barkın came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cemisgezek reached it. Karahan Tümkurt hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Gezegen's Mustafa Arif Barkın played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Onur Akdal in the 38th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Remzi Riva in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hüseyin Cahit Tanrıverdi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 44th minute of the match Abdullah Kökten sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hüseyin Cahit Tanrıverdi skillfully saved the ball. In the 46th minute, Remzi Riva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Remzi Riva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Onur Akdal made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Cemisgezek's Onur Akdal got a free kick in the 56th minute. 62 minutes into the match, Rüstem Yeğrek notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Cemisgezek's Hüseyin Cahit Tanrıverdi. Hüseyin Cahit Tanrıverdi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 90 played minutes Cemisgezek got a freekick which was hit by Hakkı Onur Vahit. Remzi Riva was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 91st minute. Gezegen's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After having played for 98 minutes, Rüstem Yeğrek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gezegen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rüstem Yeğrek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gezegen's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
