Sirnak's Sermet Gökalp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hakan Tokkan in the 11th minute of play. Sermet Gökalp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evren Hazer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Evren Hazer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 23 minutes into the match, Daday's Faruk Doğa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sermet Gökalp narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 24th minute Faruk Doğa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sermet Gökalp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ahmet Baki Adalıoğlu hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Sirnak's zone, Faruk Doğa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sermet Gökalp came out of the goal and Faruk Doğa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 78 played minutes Daday got a freekick which was hit by Işıkalp İlcan. Sungur Taygun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osman Hüsrev having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 86 minutes, Sermet Gökalp successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Faruk Doğa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
