Abbas Ergün fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harun Türkşen having to interfere. In the 28th minute Abbas Ergün shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harun Türkşen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Şakir Pekel might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Harun Türkşen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Şakir Pekel ran back to his position shaking his head. Harun Türkşen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Şakir Pekel in the 29th minute. Recai Makul charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Recai Makul the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Şakir Pekel came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Buharkent SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Şakir Pekel couldn't finish the play. Abbas Ergün fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harun Türkşen having to interfere. Buharkent SK's Şakir Pekel got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

52 minutes into the match, Çaycuma Spor's goal looked a bit too open when Hürkan Topdemir came free, but Harun Türkşen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th match minute, Çaycuma Spor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Seyrani Sanak to maneuver through the defense. Abbas Ergün struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Harun Türkşen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Şakir Pekel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Harun Türkşen was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Mustafa Hakan Saruca blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ataman Tuğlu having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Çaycuma Spor's zone, Şakir Pekel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Harun Türkşen came out of the goal and Şakir Pekel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 85 minutes, Aydın Kuntay mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Buharkent SK and the Çaycuma Spor players grew even worse after the yellow card. Çaycuma Spor's Harun Türkşen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hürkan Topdemir in the 90th minute of play. Macit Tezalp blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ataman Tuğlu having to make a save. Macit Tezalp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ataman Tuğlu having to interfere. The Buharkent SK supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Çaycuma Spor's performance. The match ended with a win for Çaycuma Spor.
