In the 9th minute, Kepez's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Kutlualp Temizsan fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 11th minute Gökcan Tardu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kürşat Sümer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Kürşat Sümer managed to avoid a goal in the 13thth minute, when Bayburt's Kutlualp Temizsan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Sinan Kutberk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alaaddin Uraza having to interfere. 20 minutes into the game, Sinan Kutberk cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Alaaddin Uraza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 25 minutes, Sinan Kutberk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kepez's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sinan Kutberk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bedrettin Cihansah might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alaaddin Uraza. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bedrettin Cihansah ran back to his position shaking his head. Alaaddin Uraza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sinan Kutberk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Bayburt's goalkeeper Alaaddin Uraza, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Kepez's Bedrettin Cihansah got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Kepez's Bedrettin Cihansah in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bayburt's goalie prevented a goal. The Kepez fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kürşat Sümer should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Kepez getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Bedrettin Cihansah hit a great ball. When Kaan Kadrihan fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kepez's protests and gave Kaan Kadrihan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 64th minute, Kaan Kadrihan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 70 minutes into the match, Kepez's goal looked a bit too open when Gökcan Tardu came free, but Kürşat Sümer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Kutlualp Temizsan came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Bayburt fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kutlualp Temizsan couldn't finish the play. Efe Sanay kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Bayburt's Mehmet Halis Kartal tried to score from far away in the 79th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Alaaddin Uraza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sinan Kutberk went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. If Gökcan Tardu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 92 played minutes Kepez got a freekick which was hit by Efe Sanay. 95 minutes into the game, Kutlualp Temizsan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Kürşat Sümer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
