Yağızhan Açıkgöz scored 1-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ilgaz Sertuğ, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 18th minute of the game. One of Gesispor:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ziraatspor:s goal. Atabek Pekşen had in the 20thth minute some difficulties stopping Nedim Hızarcı's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yağızhan Açıkgöz in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ilgaz Sertuğ prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Yağızhan Açıkgöz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Ilgaz Sertuğ tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st match minute, Gesispor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yağızhan Açıkgöz to maneuver through the defense. Gesispor's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
