Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Necip Bilgin took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Üzeyir Yağızalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ortaca's Cihangir Hayırlı played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Üzeyir Yağızalp in the 6th minute of play. Vahap Bozok blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ercan Maksut having to make a save. In the last second Ercan Maksut throw himself and got hold of the ball when Necip Bilgin in the 12thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. 15 minutes into the match, Ortaca's goal looked a bit too open when Erdoğan Askeroğlu came free, but Cihangir Hayırlı reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When 1925 GÖZTEPE's Üzeyir Yağızalp in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ortaca's goalie prevented a goal. Üzeyir Yağızalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cihangir Hayırlı showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dursun Koçaş, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Üzeyir Yağızalp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cihangir Hayırlı took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Üzeyir Yağızalp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ercan Maksut made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Necip Bilgin in the 25th minute of play. Erdoğan Askeroğlu's late challenge caught a Ortaca's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erdoğan Askeroğlu helped the player get up and apologised. After 28 played minutes 1925 GÖZTEPE got a freekick which was hit by Erdoğan Askeroğlu. The supporters of 1925 GÖZTEPE booed when Ortaca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tahsin Pehlivan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Ortaca's Akil Azim got a free kick in the 37th minute. After 40 minutes, Ahmet Asım Öztarhan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ortaca and the 1925 GÖZTEPE players grew even worse after the yellow card. With a little luck, 1925 GÖZTEPE's Ercan Maksut got control of the ball when Vahap Bozok tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Erdoğan Askeroğlu made the kick off in the second half. Üzeyir Yağızalp's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 52ndth minute, Cihangir Hayırlı skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Üzeyir Yağızalp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Cihangir Hayırlı tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vahap Bozok sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ercan Maksut made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vahap Bozok in the 61st minute of play. Ercan Maksut came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ortaca's Necip Bilgin. But to his dismay, Necip Bilgin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Gökhun Babacan's late challenge caught a Ortaca's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gökhun Babacan helped the player get up and apologised. After 66 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for 1925 GÖZTEPE! In the 68th minute there was a penalty for Ortaca. Ertan Adıbelli stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ercan Maksut. 2-0. Cihangir Hayırlı made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Üzeyir Yağızalp sent off a good shot on target. In the 75thth minute of the game Necip Bilgin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 1925 GÖZTEPE's Ercan Maksut was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Üzeyir Yağızalps short, quick shot in the 79thth minute got Cihangir Hayırlı to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erdoğan Askeroğlu in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cihangir Hayırlı prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Erdoğan Askeroğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Necip Bilgin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Vahap Bozok came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Ortaca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vahap Bozok couldn't finish the play. 92 minutes into the match, Erdoğan Askeroğlu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cihangir Hayırlı, 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erdoğan Askeroğlu in the 98th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cihangir Hayırlı saved Ortaca from getting behind. Ortaca were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of 1925 GÖZTEPE for a fine match.
