Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Unkapani's Mustafa Ali Tümenbay started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mustafa Ali Tümenbay might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ergin İşçen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mustafa Ali Tümenbay ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 20th minute, Merinos's Sedat Kemalettin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Ergin İşçen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mustafa Ali Tümenbay in the 23rd minute of the match. Celal Özdoğan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Ergin İşçen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sercan Üçok in the 29thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Birol Hazer, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Sedat Kemalettin struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Birol Hazer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Merinos. After 34 minutes, Mustafa Ali Tümenbay mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Unkapani and the Merinos players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mustafa Ali Tümenbay kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Sercan Üçok scored 2-0 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Birol Hazer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Sedat Kemalettin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sedat Kemalettin to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Unkapani booed when Merinos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Asım Pehlivan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Çelik Eldemir kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Merinos's Sercan Üçok got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Sedat Kemalettin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ergin İşçen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mustafa Ali Tümenbay in the 75th minute of play. Celal Özdoğan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Ergin İşçen made a huge save. In the 83rd minute, Nuralp Serkan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Unkapani's zone, Sedat Kemalettin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Birol Hazer came out of the goal and Sedat Kemalettin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Unkapani's Birol Hazer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sercan Üçok in the 92nd minute of play. Birol Hazer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sedat Kemalettin in the 93rd minute of play. Sercan Üçok fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Birol Hazer having to interfere. Merinos walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
