Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sedat Kemalettin started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd match minute, Merinos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sedat Kemalettin to maneuver through the defense. Ergin İşçen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mustafa Necati Taştan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mustafa Necati Taştan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Ergin İşçen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 10 minutes into the game, Ali Nabi Dafi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Baykan JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Merinos the free kick. The supporters of Merinos booed when Baykan JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ali Nabi Dafi didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Sedat Kemalettin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sercan Üçok's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 15thth minute, Ahmet Gökalp Başbuğoğlu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ahmet Gökalp Başbuğoğlu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sercan Üçok in the 16th minute. Ergin İşçen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kürşat Şenyurt in the 23rd minute of the match. Kürşat Şenyurt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 44thth minute of the game Sedat Kemalettin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Baykan JK's Ahmet Gökalp Başbuğoğlu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Baykan JK getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Ali Nabi Dafi hit a great ball. 48 minutes into the game, Bozkurt Ruçhan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Baykan JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Merinos the free kick. In the 48th minute, Bozkurt Ruçhan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kürşat Şenyurt to make the kick off. Ahmet Gökalp Başbuğoğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sedat Kemalettin in the 58th minute of the match. Sercan Üçok sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
