Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Umut Sarphan in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ahmet Asım Eskicioğlu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Konya SK getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Keramettin Çoğun hit a great ball. 7 minutes into the match, Konya SK's goal looked a bit too open when Umut Sarphan came free, but Ahmet Asım Eskicioğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led Cermik's Zekai Toktuğ to fire away a dangerous shot which Ahmet Asım Eskicioğlu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Cermik's Umut Sarphan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ahmet Asım Eskicioğlu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 16 minutes, Kutlualp Rafi made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Konya SK's Ahmet Asım Eskicioğlu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ayvaz Giyas charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ayvaz Giyas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ayvaz Giyas kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 23rd minute, Kutlualp Rafi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ahmet Asım Eskicioğlu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kutlualp Rafi's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Ahmet Asım Eskicioğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mehmet Edip Ongar in the 25th minute of the match. Kutlualp Rafi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Konya SK's Ahmet Asım Eskicioğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kutlualp Rafi in the 31st minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Kutlualp Rafi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ahmet Asım Eskicioğlu. After taking down the ball on Cermik's corner Zekai Toktuğ fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ahmet Asım Eskicioğlu quite easily take care of the ball. Kutlualp Rafi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Asım Eskicioğlu having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The wind increased when Kutlualp Rafi made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Keramettin Çoğun had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abdulaziz Usta. Cermik's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Keramettin Çoğun was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. 56 minutes into the match, Konya SK's goalkeeper Ahmet Asım Eskicioğlu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kutlualp Rafi. Kutlualp Rafi might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ahmet Asım Eskicioğlu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kutlualp Rafi ran back to his position shaking his head. Kutlualp Rafi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Asım Eskicioğlu having to interfere. Keramettin Çoğun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Abdulaziz Usta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, Cermik's Kutlualp Rafi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ahmet Asım Eskicioğlu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Konya SK's Ahmet Asım Eskicioğlu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Konya SK from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Konya SK's zone, Mehmet Edip Ongar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Asım Eskicioğlu came out of the goal and Mehmet Edip Ongar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 88 minutes into the game, Keramettin Çoğun was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Konya SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cermik the free kick. Kutlualp Rafi got in the 90th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Ahmet Asım Eskicioğlu handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Kutlualp Rafi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Ahmet Asım Eskicioğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cermik played a much better game than Konya SK and deserved their victory. The Konya SK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
