The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ziya Onur Tükelay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 7 minutes into the game, Özalp Aktay was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sinop F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sincan UNITED the free kick. Birant Tardu took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Doğa Kandemir. Doğa Kandemir dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Songurhan Bartu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Güray Emektar in the 20th minute of play. Ziya Onur Tükelay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doğa Kandemir having to interfere. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sincan UNITED's goalkeeper Songurhan Bartu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sincan UNITED's Songurhan Bartu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Sincan UNITED from getting a goal against them. Şerif Özdoru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 44 minutes into the match, Sinop F.C.'s Birol Elçibey sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Songurhan Bartu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Songurhan Bartu made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Birol Elçibey sent off a good shot on target. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Birant Tardu to make the kick off. Nazil Emek kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Sinop F.C.'s Sezer Delfin tried to score from far away in the 52nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Doğa Kandemir made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ziya Onur Tükelay in the 56th minute. Şerif Özdoru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Birol Elçibey might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Songurhan Bartu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Birol Elçibey ran back to his position shaking his head. Ziya Onur Tükelay struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Doğa Kandemir didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sincan UNITED. Birant Tardu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Doğa Kandemir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Birant Tardu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Şerif Özdoru came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Sinop F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Şerif Özdoru couldn't finish the play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Sincan UNITED walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
