A collision led to Sinop F.C. getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Şerif Özdoru hit a great ball. Selmi Hamurcuoğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Şerif Özdoru in the 7th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the game, Konyaspor FC's Kazım Nejat nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Doğa Kandemir made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After a rather tough play, Sinop F.C.'s Cenap Perinçek got a free kick in the 13th minute. İsmail Orhun Köklem kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Selmi Hamurcuoğlu was out of position in the 18 minute of play, and Şerif Özdoru capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Şerif Özdoru really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Doğa Kandemir showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from İsmail Orhun Köklem, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Doğa Kandemir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kazım Nejat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Cengiz Uran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kazım Nejat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doğa Kandemir having to interfere. Cenap Perinçek's late challenge caught a Konyaspor FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cenap Perinçek helped the player get up and apologised. In the 32nd match minute, Sinop F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cenap Perinçek to maneuver through the defense. When İsmail Orhun Köklem came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Konyaspor FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that İsmail Orhun Köklem couldn't finish the play. 39 minutes into the match, Batıkan Özgiray had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Doğa Kandemir. Sinop F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Batıkan Özgiray was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kazım Nejat stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Sinop F.C.'s goalkeeper Doğa Kandemir, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Doğa Kandemir was out of position in the 59 minute of play, and Kazım Nejat capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Kazım Nejat really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. In the 64th minute, Kazım Nejat got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kazım Nejat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kazım Nejat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st match minute, Sinop F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Güray Emektar to maneuver through the defense. Kazım Nejats short, quick shot in the 72ndth minute got Doğa Kandemir to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 74th minute, Konyaspor FC's Kazım Nejat ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Doğa Kandemir. Doğa Kandemir yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Kazım Nejat put it in 1-5 from a short distance just to the right of Doğa Kandemir. Konyaspor FC were awarded a corner in the 84th minute after Sinop F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. İsmail Orhun Köklem took the corner. The corner ended in İsmail Orhun Köklem almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sinop F.C.'s Doğa Kandemir did a great save. Batıkan Özgiray received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Doğa Kandemir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th minute Birol Elçibey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Selmi Hamurcuoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kazım Nejat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Doğa Kandemir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Konyaspor FC's Kazım Nejat got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Sinop F.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Konyaspor FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
