Arslan Özok made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fahri Ünlüsoy in the 18th minute of play. Tahsin Tükel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Arslan Özok tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Chelsea Fc's zone, Fahri Ünlüsoy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arslan Özok came out of the goal and Fahri Ünlüsoy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fahri Ünlüsoy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arslan Özok having to interfere. Atilla Mecnun's late challenge caught a Çeksikiyançekov's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Atilla Mecnun helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Chelsea Fc's Atilla Mecnun got a free kick in the 36th minute. If Fahri Ünlüsoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tahsin Tükel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arslan Özok read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Sait Eker's late challenge caught a Çeksikiyançekov's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sait Eker helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Çeksikiyançekov booed when Chelsea Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sait Eker didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

During the 52nd minute of the match Şafak Altınkaya completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Şafak Altınkaya a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 52nd match minute, Çeksikiyançekov was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Şafak Altınkaya to maneuver through the defense. If Fahri Ünlüsoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fahri Ünlüsoy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Fahri Ünlüsoy came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Çeksikiyançekov fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fahri Ünlüsoy couldn't finish the play. Arslan Özok made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Aysan Urandu sent off a good shot on target. After 73 played minutes Chelsea Fc got a freekick which was hit by Atilla Mecnun. In the 77th minute, Chelsea Fc's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Fahri Ünlüsoy fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 83 minutes into the match, Fahri Ünlüsoy had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arslan Özok. Chelsea Fc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fahri Ünlüsoy was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Tahsin Tükel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fahri Ünlüsoy got free with Arslan Özok in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
