Kamber Sahir charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kamber Sahir the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Berke Özkul blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emir Aksel having to make a save. In the 14th minute, As Akyazıspor's Pars Reha seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Pars Reha the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of As Akyazıspor protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Pars Reha had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 14th minute of the game. One of As Akyazıspor:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Yunusemre spor:s goal. 1-0 came in the 17th minute when Erdal Özker all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Emir Aksel. Yunusemre spor's Gürhan Hezarfen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Ömür Karginalp in the 21st minute of play. When As Akyazıspor's Ahmet Ömür Karginalp in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. As Akyazıspor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Berke Özkul was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Esat Geylanoğlu's late challenge caught a Yunusemre spor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Esat Geylanoğlu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 45th minute of the match Nejat Alp Sevimli sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emir Aksel skillfully saved the ball. Kamber Sahir hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ceyhan Ortun stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Yunusemre spor's Gürhan Hezarfen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Yunusemre spor from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Berke Özkul in the 54th minute of play forced As Akyazıspor's goalkeeper Emir Aksel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Nejat Alp Sevimli fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yunusemre spor's protests and gave Nejat Alp Sevimli a yellow card for diving instead. The attack was good, but when Ceyhan Ortun in the 73rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. If Berke Özkul had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Ceyhan Ortun's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emir Aksel was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. 83 minutes into the match, As Akyazıspor's Ahmet Ömür Karginalp sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gürhan Hezarfen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ahmet Ömür Karginalp got free with Gürhan Hezarfen in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ceyhan Ortun in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emir Aksel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of As Akyazıspor booed when Yunusemre spor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nejat Alp Sevimli didn't get a good kick on the ball. As Akyazıspor's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Yunusemre spor had won, even though As Akyazıspor had held more of the ball.
