Şimşek Tümenbay started the match with the kick off. When Aytunç Midilli fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Karapinar's protests and gave Aytunç Midilli a yellow card for diving instead. Aytunç Midilli hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Şimşek Tümenbay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hüseyin Rahmi Timurcan hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute, Enginalp Taci fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Umur Tanyol, passed just outside the right post. Kerimhan Necdet's late challenge caught a HAŞGERYA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kerimhan Necdet helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Karapinar's Kerimhan Necdet got a free kick in the 12th minute. Umur Tanyol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Şimşek Tümenbay, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind HAŞGERYA's goalkeeper Beyhan Tacir, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in HAŞGERYA's zone, Bünyamin Akçakan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Beyhan Tacir came out of the goal and Bünyamin Akçakan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Karapinar's Kerimhan Necdet got a free kick in the 34th minute. Şimşek Tümenbay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Umur Tanyol having to interfere. If Enginalp Taci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Umur Tanyol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şimşek Tümenbay in the 43rd minute of play. In the 45th minute, Bünyamin Akçakan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Karapinar's Bünyamin Akçakan got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

After having played for 51 minutes, Şimşek Tümenbay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. HAŞGERYA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Şimşek Tümenbay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 54th minute of the match Nafiz Özyuva sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Umur Tanyol skillfully saved the ball. Bünyamin Akçakan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Beyhan Tacir made a huge save. Şimşek Tümenbay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Umur Tanyol having to interfere. Karapinar's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
