The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 12 minutes, Güralp Humbaracıbaşı managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gemerek SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Güralp Humbaracıbaşı was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 23rd match minute, Manisa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gökcan Tulun to maneuver through the defense. If Güralp Humbaracıbaşı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Şahin Özan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mustafa Hakan Özengin having to interfere. Eşref Çile charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eşref Çile the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Manisa's goalkeeper Gündüz Dilsaz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Şahin Özan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Şahin Özan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ali Galip Kemal struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Mustafa Hakan Özengin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Manisa. Mustafa Hakan Özengin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Şahin Özan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ali Galip Kemal in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mustafa Hakan Özengin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mustafa Hakan Özengin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Galip Kemal in the 68th minute of play. Bora Yalın hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Gemerek SK's Mustafa Hakan Özengin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şahin Özan in the 75th minute of play. Ali Galip Kemal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Mustafa Hakan Özengin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Şahin Özan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 80 minutes into the match, Gemerek SK's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Galip Kemal came free, but Mustafa Hakan Özengin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Volkan Ataergin during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Manisa players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
