After a defensive mix-up in Göztepe's zone, Yasin Uraltay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arthur de Alcântara came out of the goal and Yasin Uraltay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. İldeniz Kutlucan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. İdari İşler FC's Oğuzkan Ayaydın played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bozkurt Tarancı in the 21st minute of play. In the 23rd minute of the match Mümin Şensoy shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arthur de Alcântara showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Ronaldo Messi notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of İdari İşler FC's Oğuzkan Ayaydın. Oğuzkan Ayaydın was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 31st match minute, Göztepe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bozkurt Tarancı to maneuver through the defense. Göztepe's Güralp Timurkan quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Uğurcan Baykal, made in the 32nd minute of the game. 33 minutes into the match, Göztepe's goal looked a bit too open when Mehmet Çağrı Uluant came free, but Arthur de Alcântara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 38 minutes, Arthur de Alcântara successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 47th minute Bozkurt Tarancı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oğuzkan Ayaydın saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The wind increased when Ronaldo Messi made the kick off in the second half. Arthur de Alcântara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yasin Uraltay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arthur de Alcântara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İldeniz Kutlucan in the 59th minute of play. Bozkurt Tarancı kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Göztepe's Şahap Nuratay got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Oğuzkan Ayaydın showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldo Messi, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. İldeniz Kutlucan dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. The Göztepe supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Göztepe would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
