Ronaldo Messi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ahmet Hafiz Balcı during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 6 played minutes DODURGA got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Hafiz Balcı. When Bozkurt Tarancı fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Göztepe's protests and gave Bozkurt Tarancı a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of DODURGA booed when Göztepe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bozkurt Tarancı didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th minute, Fikri Başkaynak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abdi Saygın Efe's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 17thth minute, Arthur de Alcântara skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 18 minutes into the match, Ronaldo Messi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ecevit As. DODURGA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ronaldo Messi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Sermet Keremşah charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sermet Keremşah the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sermet Keremşah kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 25th minute of the match Göztepe got a corner. DODURGA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Göztepe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ronaldo Messi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ecevit As showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldo Messi in the 32nd minute of the match. Bozkurt Tarancı's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ecevit As read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Göztepe's Bozkurt Tarancı sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ecevit As narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bozkurt Tarancı might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ecevit As. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bozkurt Tarancı ran back to his position shaking his head. After 39 minutes of play, Göztepe's Ronaldo Messi made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ecevit As was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 47th match minute, DODURGA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alim Ağca to maneuver through the defense.

The wind increased when Ronaldo Messi made the kick off in the second half. Ronaldo Messi struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Ecevit As didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Göztepe. Cankut Kayıhan kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. When Ronaldo Messi came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Göztepe fans jumped to their feet. After having played for 64 minutes, Bozkurt Tarancı managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Göztepe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bozkurt Tarancı was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, DODURGA's Ecevit As got control of the ball when Bozkurt Tarancı tried to sneak it across the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Birdal Sadak in the 76th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Göztepe's Bozkurt Tarancı. DODURGA's defense didn't have a chance, in the 78th minute, when Alvaro Ado scored to the left of an out of position Ecevit As, making the score, 0-3. Ronaldo Messi in the 84thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ecevit As, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ronaldo Messi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Ecevit As made a huge save. In the 94th minute Ahmet Hafiz Balcı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arthur de Alcântara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Göztepe's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
