Spectators: 7200 (Terracing: 5434, Seating: 1666, VIP seats: 100) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Adem Şenal made the kick off which started today's match. Kazım Eke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kazım Eke got free with Saip Tugal in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 11 minutes into the match, Almus's Kazım Eke sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Saip Tugal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 15th minute, Kazım Eke made a precise shot to the right of Saip Tugal. Thrace SK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the last second Saip Tugal throw himself and got hold of the ball when Şükrü Zaim in the 20thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. 28 minutes into the match, Thrace SK's goal looked a bit too open when Şükrü Zaim came free, but Saip Tugal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes into the game, Merih Öktüre was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Almus's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Thrace SK the free kick. The supporters of Thrace SK booed when Almus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Merih Öktüre didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Almus's Saip Tugal threw himself towards the right post 32 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Şükrü Zaim, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Thrace SK's Namık Tuğaltay in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Almus's goalie prevented a goal. Almus's Şimşek Günsel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Namık Tuğaltay in the 38th minute of play. Gazanfer Özcan Taygun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Saip Tugal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Merih Öktüre, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Thrace SK's zone, Şükrü Zaim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Saip Tugal came out of the goal and Şükrü Zaim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Şükrü Zaim was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute Kazım Eke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saip Tugal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Namık Tuğaltay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 61 minutes into the game, Almus's Kazım Eke nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Saip Tugal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Thrace SK's zone, Kazım Eke stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Saip Tugal came out of the goal and Kazım Eke tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thrace SK's Saip Tugal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şükrü Zaim in the 73rd minute of play. In the 77th minute of the match Aysan Baltaş sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Saip Tugal skillfully saved the ball. Şimşek Günsel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaffar Kamil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Namık Tuğaltay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gazanfer Özcan Taygun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adem Şenal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Şimşek Günsel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. Şimşek Günsel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adem Şenal, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. The Almus support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
