Bedirhan Türek was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 7 minutes into the game, Halil Erozan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Bayram Saik was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. GALATASARAY's Bayram Saik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Halil Erozan in the 13th minute of play. After 13 played minutes GALATASARAY got a freekick which was hit by Nurtekin Koray. After having played for 14 minutes, Mehmet Edip Mümtaz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. OF SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mehmet Edip Mümtaz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 16th minute of the match, Tolga Ökmen got a very nice opportunity to score, but Bedirhan Türek was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 19th minute, Halil Erozan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bayram Saik was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Tolga Ökmen kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bedirhan Türek. That made the score 2-2 in the 24 minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, OF SK's goalkeeper Bedirhan Türek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Korcan Suheyl. After 29 minutes of play, GALATASARAY's Nurtekin Koray made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bedirhan Türek was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bedirhan Türek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alpertunga Kıvılcım, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 34th minute Mümtazer Beyazit shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bedirhan Türek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the game, Halil Erozan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Bayram Saik was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 39th minute Mümtazer Beyazit shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bedirhan Türek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ferman Mukremin's late challenge caught a GALATASARAY's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ferman Mukremin helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of GALATASARAY booed when OF SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferman Mukremin didn't get a good kick on the ball. GALATASARAY were awarded a corner in the 42th minute after OF SK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Erberk Kutam took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Erberk Kutam got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bedirhan Türek quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mehmet Edip Mümtaz to strike the kick off in the second half. GALATASARAY's Ahmet Erdem Saygılı quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Abdulkerim Uğursan, made in the 52nd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, OF SK's Ferman Mukremin got a free kick in the 53rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tolga Ökmen in the 56th minute of play forced OF SK's goalkeeper Bedirhan Türek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gafur Ulvi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bedirhan Türek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tolga Ökmen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. GALATASARAY's Ahmet Erdem Saygılı quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Abdulkerim Uğursan, made in the 62nd minute of the game. Bedirhan Türek stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tolga Ökmen's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. 71 minutes into the game, GALATASARAY's Alpertunga Kıvılcım nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bedirhan Türek made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-3. 76 minutes into the match, GALATASARAY's goalkeeper Bayram Saik had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gafur Ulvi. In the 78th minute, Halil Erozan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bayram Saik. The goal made the score 4-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tolga Ökmen in the 83rd minute of play forced OF SK's goalkeeper Bedirhan Türek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 90 minutes into the game, Abdulkerim Uğursan threw the ball into play from the sideline. GALATASARAY's Ahmet Erdem Saygılı quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 93rd minute, Ahmet Erdem Saygılı made a precise shot to the right of Bedirhan Türek. OF SK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-4. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. GALATASARAY had played much better football throughout.
