It was a penalty for KEYVANSPOR! 2-1 came through a penalty shot after 20 played minutes, when Sabanözü:s Cihangir Ersayın calmly waited for KEYVANSPOR:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. In the 24thth minute of the game Cihangir Ersayın who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KEYVANSPOR's Tahsin Kebir was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 26th match minute, Sabanözü was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ercüment Baysu to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute, Hakkı Kenan Kartekin made a precise shot to the right of Tahsin Kebir. KEYVANSPOR's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. After a defensive mix-up in KEYVANSPOR's zone, Volkan Sorgun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tahsin Kebir came out of the goal and Volkan Sorgun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Volkan Sorgun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tahsin Kebir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cihangir Ersayın in the 43rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cihangir Ersayın in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tahsin Kebir saved KEYVANSPOR from getting behind. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ahmet Erdem Tuğkan was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hakkı Kenan Kartekin in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tahsin Kebir saved KEYVANSPOR from getting behind. 61 minutes into the game, Halit Fahri Tokyay was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KEYVANSPOR's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sabanözü the free kick. Tahsin Kebir made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. In the 65th match minute, KEYVANSPOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Halit Fahri Tokyay to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind KEYVANSPOR's goalkeeper Tahsin Kebir, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Batu Cem Beşir made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ahmet Erdem Tuğkan in the 70th minute. Ercüment Baysu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Halit Fahri Tokyay kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Batu Cem Beşir. That made the score 4-2 in the 74 minute of play. Ercüment Baysu charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ercüment Baysu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ercüment Baysu hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. KEYVANSPOR's Sufi Apaydın got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cihangir Ersayın fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tahsin Kebir having to interfere. Tahsin Kebir showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cihangir Ersayın, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Tahsin Kebir didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hakkı Kenan Kartekin went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-2 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet as KEYVANSPOR's Halit Fahri Tokyay slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Batu Cem Beşir. That made the score 5-3 after 95 minutes of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Sabanözü had played much better football throughout.
