A collision led to Bogazkale getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Burhan Erguvan hit a great ball. Bogazkale's Kubilay Vahdettin was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 38th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. If Duran Tekinel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ahmet Koralp Kulan made a kick off. When Duran Tekinel came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Bogazkale fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Duran Tekinel couldn't finish the play. After having played for 72 minutes, Şanver Betim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Esentepe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Şanver Betim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 83rd minute by Ahmet Koralp Kulan got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Ünsal Çakman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Duran Tekinel, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Bogazkale's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
