Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ahmet Koralp Kulan kicked off to start the match. Müfit Zihni's late challenge caught a Esentepe's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Müfit Zihni helped the player get up and apologised. In the 8th minute, Müfit Zihni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Başaran Sancaktar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ünsal Çakman having to interfere. Ünsal Çakman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Başaran Sancaktar's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Sinan Ceri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Koralp Kulan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Başaran Sancaktar put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ünsal Çakman. Mehmet Bedri Oktan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Şanver Betim was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 33rd minute. Esentepe's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Şanver Betim could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Sinan Ceri made a huge save. Mehmet Bedri Oktan took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ünsal Çakman. Ünsal Çakman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 40th minute, one of TuRKiYe:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for TuRKiYe. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mehmet Bedri Oktan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mehmet Osman Haşmetli struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Sinan Ceri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Esentepe. Sinan Ceri had in the 56thth minute some difficulties stopping Rafettin Balyemez's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. If Mehmet Bedri Oktan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute, Mehmet Bedri Oktan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Esentepe's Ünsal Çakman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Esentepe from getting a goal against them. Ünsal Çakman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mehmet Bedri Oktan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ünsal Çakman stood somewhat misplaced when Mehmet Bedri Oktan came free in front of goal and shot 1-3 to the left of him in the 72 minute. In the 79th match minute, TuRKiYe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Başar Acaröz to maneuver through the defense. In the 83rd minute Gökçen Alan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sinan Ceri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Mustafa Namık Yalçıner fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored TuRKiYe's protests and gave Mustafa Namık Yalçıner a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to TuRKiYe getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Mustafa Namık Yalçıner hit a great ball. In the 85th minute, Şanver Betim ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sinan Ceri was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Sinan Ceri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Koralp Kulan, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. When Esentepe's Ahmet Koralp Kulan in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye TuRKiYe's goalie prevented a goal. The TuRKiYe players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
