Spectators: 6666 (Terracing: 5519, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 147) Galatasaray's Mustafa Hakan Ötüken started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bulut Hozatlı made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bedirhan Kuyas in the 5th minute of play. Bilge Koçaslan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bulut Hozatlı having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bedirhan Kuyas in the 7th minute of play forced Galatasaray's goalkeeper Bulut Hozatlı to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kumlu's Affan Özbey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sermet Nurbaki in the 11th minute of play. Bulut Hozatlı was a little too slow when Deniz Adıgüzel got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 12th minute. The score was now 1-0. Deniz Adıgüzel took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bulut Hozatlı. Bulut Hozatlı dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Mustafa Hakan Ötüken struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Affan Özbey didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Galatasaray. In the 24th minute Kunter Uçanok shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Affan Özbey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Kumlu's Ahmet Arif Himmet got a free kick in the 34th minute. Bilge Koçaslan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Bulut Hozatlı made a huge save. Affan Özbey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mustafa Hakan Ötüken, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

When the match clock showed 60 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Deniz Adıgüzel sped through Galatasaray's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bulut Hozatlı. Bedirhan Kuyas struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Bulut Hozatlı didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kumlu. A collision led to Kumlu getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Yıldıray Başkur hit a great ball. After 76 played minutes Kumlu got a freekick which was hit by Dilmen Kurumer. Deniz Adıgüzel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Bulut Hozatlı tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute Mustafa Hakan Ötüken shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Affan Özbey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Deniz Adıgüzel in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bulut Hozatlı prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Erdal Bilgetürk kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match.
