After 20 minutes of play, KDZ.Ereğli's Bilal Akağan made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ertan Bakkalbaşıoğlu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vefa Seyidhan's late challenge caught a KDZ.Ereğli's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vefa Seyidhan helped the player get up and apologised. Vefa Seyidhan hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Talip Elçi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ayberk Ural in the 28th minute of play. In the 33rd match minute, Pendikspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tibet Salah to maneuver through the defense. Ertan Bakkalbaşıoğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kutalp Özkurt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bilal Akağan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Ertan Bakkalbaşıoğlu made a huge save. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Pendikspor's goalkeeper Ertan Bakkalbaşıoğlu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kutalp Özkurt in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ertan Bakkalbaşıoğlu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bilal Akağan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ertan Bakkalbaşıoğlu having to make a save. If Aşık Öge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mustafa Arif Nurettin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 87th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ertan Bakkalbaşıoğlu. Pendikspor's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 91st minute, Feyyaz Özakın got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in KDZ.Ereğli's zone, Ayberk Ural stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Talip Elçi came out of the goal and Ayberk Ural tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pendikspor's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
