If Melih Osmanoğulları had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. Galatasaray's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Akseki the free kick. A collision led to Galatasaray getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Mehmet Hakkı Şanlı hit a great ball. Bulut Hozatlı showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Şahin Okyar, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Bulut Hozatlı stood somewhat misplaced when Şahin Okyar came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 19 minute. 23 minutes into the match, Akseki's goal looked a bit too open when Mustafa Hakan Ötüken came free, but Duran Özbas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Duran Özbas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kunter Uçanok in the 28th minute of play. Kunter Uçanok fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duran Özbas having to interfere. Galatasaray's defense didn't have a chance, in the 36th minute, when Şahin Okyar scored to the left of an out of position Bulut Hozatlı, making the score, 3-0. Bulut Hozatlı took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Şahin Okyar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Melih Osmanoğulları received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Bulut Hozatlı tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Şahin Okyar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Akseki's Duran Özbas got control of the ball when Kunter Uçanok tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 59th minute of the match Enver Ergener shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bulut Hozatlı showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Akseki booed when Galatasaray was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Korcan Yöntem didn't get a good kick on the ball. Galatasaray's Bulut Hozatlı played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şahin Okyar in the 68th minute of play. Mustafa Hakan Ötüken might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Duran Özbas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mustafa Hakan Ötüken ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Akseki's Enver Ergener got a free kick in the 70th minute. 75 minutes into the match, Akseki's goalkeeper Duran Özbas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kunter Uçanok. Ahmet Bülent Ökkeş hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. If Mustafa Hakan Ötüken had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kandemir Şakib during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Duran Özbas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mustafa Hakan Ötüken in the 95th minute of the match. Melih Osmanoğulları fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bulut Hozatlı having to interfere. Akseki's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
