Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mustafa Hakan Ötüken kicked off to start the match. Pendikspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Coşkun Onaran was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bulut Hozatlı breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ayberk Ural received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Bulut Hozatlı tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mustafa Hakan Ötüken sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pendikspor's Ertan Bakkalbaşıoğlu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Pendikspor from getting a goal against them. If Mustafa Hakan Ötüken had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Kunter Uçanok managed to get in a good position for a shot. The referee gave Tibet Salah a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Tibet Salah kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the match, Galatasaray's Ogün Tongal broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Kunter Uçanok recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kunter Uçanok struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Ertan Bakkalbaşıoğlu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Galatasaray. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Coşkun Onaran stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Coşkun Onaran's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Bulut Hozatlı firmly grabbed it by the left post. After some careless play in the Pendikspor defense, Fadıl Pirane kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ertan Bakkalbaşıoğlu. The Pendikspor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ertan Bakkalbaşıoğlu should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kunter Uçanok in the 63rd minute of play forced Pendikspor's goalkeeper Ertan Bakkalbaşıoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mustafa Hakan Ötüken fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ertan Bakkalbaşıoğlu having to interfere. A collision led to Galatasaray getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Mustafa Hakan Ötüken hit a great ball.
