Spectators: 6800 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1657, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Baysal Muhsin kicked off to start the match. Baysal Muhsin struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Ali Kürşat Ozan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Van. Göktuğ Yalkı received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Ali Kürşat Ozan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 9 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Göktuğ Yalkı sped through Bursa FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ali Kürşat Ozan. When Van's Baysal Muhsin in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bursa FC's goalie prevented a goal. Göktuğ Yalkı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 20 minutes into the match, Bursa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Göktuğ Yalkı came free, but Ali Kürşat Ozan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Günalp Saik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Van's Suphi Perkin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Van from getting a goal against them. Aydemir Sebati kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 29thth minute of the game Baysal Muhsin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bursa FC's Ali Kürşat Ozan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ali Kürşat Ozan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Göktuğ Yalkı in the 30th minute of play. If Göktuğ Yalkı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Günalp Saik to make the kick off. Suphi Perkin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Günalp Saik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Günalp Saik in the 60th minute of play forced Van's goalkeeper Suphi Perkin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Van's Göktuğ Yalkı got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Suphi Perkin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Günalp Saik in the 72nd minute of play. In the 75th match minute, Bursa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denizhan Tecimer to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Göktuğ Yalkı got free with Ali Kürşat Ozan in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Günalp Saik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ali Kürşat Ozan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baysal Muhsin in the 87th minute of play. Ali Kürşat Ozan came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Van's Göktuğ Yalkı. But to his dismay, Göktuğ Yalkı quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The Van players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
