After 30 minutes of play, Biga FK's Abdulkadir Özel made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rıdvan Yorangil was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 36 minutes, Aşkın Özdoğru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Abdulkadir Özel ran back to his position shaking his head. Suat Tükelay's late challenge caught a Biga FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Suat Tükelay helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 49th minute of the game. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half.
