Baturalp Eryetiş showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karhan Kuyas in the 25th minute of the match. In the 27th minute Karhan Kuyas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baturalp Eryetiş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baturalp Eryetiş stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Karhan Kuyas's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Baturalp Eryetiş showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aral Karan, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. The Afyon SK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Malatyaspor were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aral Karan to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Karhan Kuyas notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Afyon SK's Baturalp Eryetiş. Aral Karan's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 80thth minute, Baturalp Eryetiş skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 83rd minute, Afyon SK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Karhan Kuyas fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Karhan Kuyas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baturalp Eryetiş was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Aral Karan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 92 minute of play.
