The audience thought a goal was coming when Mesut Yiğit got free with Şansal Başkara in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 28 minutes into the match, ZATO's goalkeeper Şansal Başkara had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mesut Yiğit. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abdulmelik Arınç was the one to do the kick off. But to his dismay, Alperen Erdoğdu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Abdulmelik Arınç sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ilgin's supporters rose to their feet, but Demir Babayiğit was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Şansal Başkara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 71stth minute of the game Mesut Yiğit who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ZATO's Şansal Başkara was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Şansal Başkara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mesut Yiğit in the 73rd minute of the match. Şansal Başkara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mesut Yiğit in the 74th minute of play. Demir Babayiğit received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Şansal Başkara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdulmelik Arınç in the 93rd minute of play forced Ilgin's goalkeeper Bahri Sarim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Ilgin lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
