After a rather tough play, Bodrum's Barış Derman got a free kick in the 8th minute. Semavi Bilgehan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 14 minutes had been played when some careless play by Zincirlikuyu JK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Semavi Bilgehan was slow to take the kick. During this time Bodrum's players had a chance to rest. After a defensive mix-up in Zincirlikuyu JK's zone, Semavi Bilgehan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Recep Özker came out of the goal and Semavi Bilgehan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 27th minute, Barış Derman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 32nd minute, Ahmet Göktuğ Yiğiter got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 34 minutes into the match, Ahmet Göktuğ Yiğiter had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Recep Özker. Zincirlikuyu JK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ahmet Göktuğ Yiğiter was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ahmet Harun Mensur was the one to do the kick off. Recep Özker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Semavi Bilgehan in the 51st minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Mehmet Emin Atacan could shoot a difficult shot in the 54th minute, which Recep Özker however easily saved by the left post. Bodrum's Semavi Bilgehan got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bodrum's Mehmet Emin Atacan got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 61 minutes into the match, Zincirlikuyu JK's goal looked a bit too open when Semavi Bilgehan came free, but Recep Özker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Semavi Bilgehan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the Zincirlikuyu JK defense, Barış Derman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Recep Özker. The Zincirlikuyu JK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Recep Özker should have stopped the shot. Zincirlikuyu JK's Bekir Uyguner got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Semavi Bilgehans short, quick shot in the 76thth minute got Recep Özker to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Tugay Sadan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Recep Özker having to interfere. Savaş İzzet struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Doğuş Tüney didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zincirlikuyu JK. Ahmet Göktuğ Yiğiter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Recep Özker having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Semavi Bilgehan in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Recep Özker prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tugay Sadan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Göktuğ Yiğiter in the 96th minute of play forced Zincirlikuyu JK's goalkeeper Recep Özker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Zincirlikuyu JK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Bodrum were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
