Spectators: 6661 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ahmet Harun Mensur started the match with the kick off. Kasım Tüzel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bekir Uyguner in the 6th minute of play. Ahmet Harun Mensur scored 0-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kasım Tüzel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Azim Günden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 12th minute Ahmet Harun Mensur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kasım Tüzel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th minute, Özkan Cantez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Recep Özker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nazım Rüştü, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Özkan Cantez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Recep Özker having to interfere. Savaş İzzet kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Özkan Cantez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 36 minutes, Ahmet Harun Mensur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zincirlikuyu JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Harun Mensur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 38th minute Azim Günden shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kasım Tüzel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kasım Tüzel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Harun Mensur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Nazım Rüştü had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nazım Rüştü might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Recep Özker. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nazım Rüştü ran back to his position shaking his head. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nazım Rüştü made a kick off. After 53 minutes, Hasan Torlak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zincirlikuyu JK and the Akatlar SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 53rd match minute, Zincirlikuyu JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hasan Torlak to maneuver through the defense. The audience held their breath when Ahmet Sedat Erentürk in the 55th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Recep Özker's left hand side. Azim Günden fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kasım Tüzel having to interfere. A collision led to Akatlar SK getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Mustafa Kemal Hızarcı hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Zincirlikuyu JK's Ünal Yalçuk got a free kick in the 65th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Özkan Cantez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Akatlar SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Özkan Cantez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Recep Özker breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nazım Rüştü fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Recep Özker having to interfere. Recep Özker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nazım Rüştü, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nazım Rüştü in the 73rd minute of play forced Zincirlikuyu JK's goalkeeper Recep Özker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nazım Rüştü took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Recep Özker. Recep Özker dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Recep Özker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nazım Rüştü, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Azim Günden's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Kasım Tüzel firmly grabbed it by the left post. Ahmet Sedat Erentürk's late challenge caught a Zincirlikuyu JK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ahmet Sedat Erentürk helped the player get up and apologised. Ahmet Sedat Erentürk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Recep Özker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
