Doğuş Tüney showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tuna Generalov, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 18th minute Semavi Bilgehan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thorbjørn Wathne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Doğuş Tüney took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Başar Çetinay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bodrum's Tugay Sadan got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Semavi Bilgehan struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. In the 66th match minute, Bodrum was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barış Derman to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teoman Tanju in the 88th minute of play forced Bodrum's goalkeeper Doğuş Tüney to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barış Derman's late challenge caught a KIZIL ELMA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Barış Derman helped the player get up and apologised. After 88 played minutes Bodrum got a freekick which was hit by Barış Derman. Bodrum's Doğuş Tüney played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teoman Tanju in the 93rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Hacı Hitit could shoot a difficult shot in the 94th minute, which Doğuş Tüney however easily saved by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Semavi Bilgehan in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thorbjørn Wathne saved KIZIL ELMA from getting behind. The KIZIL ELMA players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
