A nice corner shot did that Necip Beysan got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Alim Saygılı quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A collision led to Dikili getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Bumin Arkan hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Şener Baroğlu in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vahap Işıklı prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Şener Baroğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vahap Işıklı having to interfere. Süruri Tayguner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Vahap Işıklı tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vahap Işıklı made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şener Baroğlu in the 39th minute of play. Vahap Işıklı stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Süruri Tayguner's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. Vahap Işıklı didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Şener Baroğlu went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Süruri Tayguner was the one to do the kick off. In the 58thth minute of the game Hüsnü Sulhi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dikili's Alim Saygılı was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Umur Gençoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alim Saygılı showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hüsnü Sulhi, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Alim Saygılı showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Umur Gençoğlu in the 74th minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Ali Kaan Öznur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Necip Beysan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alim Saygılı read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Umur Gençoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alim Saygılı having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Umur Gençoğlu in the 92nd minute of play forced Dikili's goalkeeper Alim Saygılı to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Şener Baroğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
