Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Merter SK's Bedri Adaş started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kutay Özdamar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aybek Türcan in the 8th minute of play. Kutay Özdamar came out of the goal and Rıza Başkaynak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 19th match minute, Merter SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bulut Ergüden to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute, Aybek Türcan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kutay Özdamar was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anıl Ege Çırağ during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 26th minute of the game. One of Merter SK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Viking Fc:s goal. Kutay Özdamar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aybek Türcan in the 31st minute of the match. Ramazan Sabir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Ahmet Hayri Arıkan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th match minute, Merter SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bulut Ergüden to maneuver through the defense. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aybek Türcan made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aybek Türcan in the 65th minute of play forced Merter SK's goalkeeper Kutay Özdamar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Viking Fc booed when Merter SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bulut Ergüden didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Bedri Adaş's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ahmet Hayri Arıkan was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Ahmet Hayri Arıkan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ahmet Hayri Arıkan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramazan Sabir, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Viking Fc's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
