Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ali Kağan Safer made the kick off which started today's match. Süleyman Uğuralp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Kudret Toycan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abdurrezzak Serdinç came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Derbent's Galip Cezar. But to his dismay, Galip Cezar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Kudret Toycan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Süleyman Uğuralp's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Abdurrezzak Serdinç took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Şamil Taha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Derbent's Galip Cezar got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 21 minutes, Tolgahan Salti mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Galatasaray and the Derbent players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 24thth minute of the game Şamil Taha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Galatasaray's Abdurrezzak Serdinç was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Abdurrezzak Serdinç made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Galip Cezar in the 27th minute of play. Ali Kağan Safer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ali Kağan Safer in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kudret Toycan saved Derbent from getting behind. Ali Kağan Safer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kudret Toycan having to interfere. With his leg Kudret Toycan managed to avoid a goal in the 39thth minute, when Galatasaray's Süleyman Uğuralp fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to Derbent getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Tuğrul Acunman hit a great ball. Kudret Toycan had great luck who in the 43rdth minute grab hold of the ball when Ali Kağan Safer from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Ali Kağan Safer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Kudret Toycan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Galip Cezar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdurrezzak Serdinç having to interfere. 57 minutes into the game, Gökçen Eripek was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Galatasaray's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Derbent the free kick. The supporters of Derbent booed when Galatasaray was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gökçen Eripek didn't get a good kick on the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Galatasaray's goal looked a bit too open when Galip Cezar came free, but Abdurrezzak Serdinç reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Derbent's Gürcan Cabir got a free kick in the 66th minute. If Galip Cezar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Derbent getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Tuğrul Acunman hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Derbent's zone, Ali Kağan Safer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kudret Toycan came out of the goal and Ali Kağan Safer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Galip Cezar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Şamil Taha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Derbent defense, Ali Kağan Safer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kudret Toycan. The Derbent fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kudret Toycan should have stopped the shot. After 90 minutes, Recep Aksun mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Derbent and the Galatasaray players grew even worse after the yellow card. Süleyman Uğuralp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. After having played for 99 minutes, Galip Cezar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Derbent's supporters crossed their fingers, but Galip Cezar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
