An unexpectedly hard shot by Celalettin Yiğiter in the 31st minute of play forced Cevatoz FC's goalkeeper Hamdullah Ömür to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The Cevatoz FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hamdullah Ömür should have stopped the shot. If Ender Korgan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Cevatoz FC's zone, Celalettin Yiğiter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hamdullah Ömür came out of the goal and Celalettin Yiğiter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hamdullah Ömür stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Celalettin Yiğiter's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. Hamdullah Ömür made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Yahya Tuna in the 93rd minute of play. Cevatoz FC's Hamdullah Ömür played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celalettin Yiğiter in the 96th minute of play. 99 minutes into the match, Cevatoz FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Yahya Tuna came free, but Hamdullah Ömür reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
