Spectators: 6500 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1400, VIP seats: 100) Galip Sarper started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arda Baybars Camcıoğlu got free with Nazım Ülkenur in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bayhan Dündaroğlu came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Avanos SK's Göktan Karakaya. But to his dismay, Göktan Karakaya quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Arda Baybars Camcıoğlu scored 1-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nazım Ülkenur, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nazım Ülkenur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ömer Sidam in the 20th minute of the match. Semih Kutsal charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Semih Kutsal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 35 played minutes Anafartalar got a freekick which was hit by Sabit Şahbender. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Arda Baybars Camcıoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Anafartalar's supporters rose to their feet, but Arda Baybars Camcıoğlu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nazım Ülkenur breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Avanos SK's zone, Arda Baybars Camcıoğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nazım Ülkenur was out of position in the 48 minute of play, and Arda Baybars Camcıoğlu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Arda Baybars Camcıoğlu really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arda Baybars Camcıoğlu to make the kick off. Nazım Ülkenur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arda Baybars Camcıoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. If Semih Kutsal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Avanos SK's Şerafettin Çağkar got a free kick in the 94th minute. Şafak İlmen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Nazım Ülkenur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
