Yavuz Sultan Selim SK's Şükrü Tefhim got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Özgür Canaydin in the 4th minute of play forced Yavuz Sultan Selim SK's goalkeeper Taha Boratay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Imranli JK getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Günalp Tecer hit a great ball. İlbey Satıkbuğra came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Yavuz Sultan Selim SK's Şükrü Tefhim. But to his dismay, Şükrü Tefhim quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Turabi Sayrak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Yavuz Sultan Selim SK getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Mustafa Necati Özdağ hit a great ball. When Abdulbaki Ünüvar fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yavuz Sultan Selim SK's protests and gave Abdulbaki Ünüvar a yellow card for diving instead. Taha Boratay made an important save on a dangerous shot by Özgür Canaydin in the 29th minute. In the 32nd minute, Şükrü Tefhim made a precise shot to the right of İlbey Satıkbuğra. Imranli JK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Duman Değirmenci was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 43 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute, Duman Değirmenci hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Taha Boratay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kuddusî Erboy in the 52nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Uğurcan Refiğ during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Yavuz Sultan Selim SK's Uğurcan Refiğ got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Imranli JK's İlbey Satıkbuğra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mustafa Necati Özdağ in the 55th minute of play. Taha Boratay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Turabi Sayrak, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Imranli JK's attentive Kuddusî Erboy managed to snatch the ball when Babür Alpman made a throw-in in the 64th minute of the game. Taha Boratay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Turabi Sayrak in the 78th minute of the match. Turabi Sayrak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Taha Boratay having to interfere. Derya Akçasu kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. A collision led to Imranli JK getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Günalp Tecer hit a great ball. Abdulbaki Ünüvar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without İlbey Satıkbuğra having to interfere. Turabi Sayrak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Imranli JK booed when Yavuz Sultan Selim SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uğurcan Refiğ didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
