Ahmet Davut Üstam charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ahmet Davut Üstam the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 28 played minutes F.C.GALA got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Davut Üstam. After 29 played minutes, Trabzonspor's Ahmet Çağrı Taceddin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ahmet Nedim Turatekin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Trabzonspor reached it. Ahmet Hafiz İltekin scored 1-1 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ahmet Nedim Turatekin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mehmet Osman Uçuk was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 35 minutes into the match. One of Trabzonspor:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of F.C.GALA:s goal. When the match had been going on for 38 minutes, F.C.GALA's Ahmet Davut Üstam got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Abdi Saygın Naşit. Şeray Kaymaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdi Saygın Naşit having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Kubat Nevzat hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 56th minute, Şeray Kaymaz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The F.C.GALA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Yavuz Sayrak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kubat Nevzat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Ahmet Nedim Turatekin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, F.C.GALA's Ahmet Oğuz Kutlualp got a free kick in the 62nd minute. If Recep Tayyip Karaman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Trabzonspor getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Yavuz Sayrak hit a great ball. Abdi Saygın Naşit showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Şeray Kaymaz in the 69th minute of the match. In the 74th minute Recep Tayyip Karaman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdi Saygın Naşit saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Birsel Genişyürek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Ahmet Nedim Turatekin made a huge save. 87 minutes into the match, Recep Tayyip Karaman notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Trabzonspor's Abdi Saygın Naşit. Abdi Saygın Naşit was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Şeray Kaymaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Trabzonspor's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
