Gürsel Göçmen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Varol Şirzat read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baybora Vural in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Varol Şirzat prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 16th minute, Erkin Uygu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gürsel Göçmen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alsancak's Aykut Ongel got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Baybora Vural received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Varol Şirzat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aykut Ongel struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Doğukan Tekalp didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alsancak. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Suavi Arkın to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Rami booed when Alsancak was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aykut Ongel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baybora Vural fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Varol Şirzat having to interfere. Erkin Uygu hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Rami's Fatih Ayaydın couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Alsancak. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Uğuralp Tekcan during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Alsancak getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Uğuralp Tekcan hit a great ball. The Alsancak fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Rami were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
