The referee showed Alparslan Yordam the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 11 played minutes F.C.GALA got a freekick which was hit by Bahtiyar Bilginer. Arif Bilge Sertaç sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. From a short distance, Erzurum Spor FK's Kürşat Ahi, in the 16th minute, tried to place the ball behind Ahmet Nedim Turatekin, but the ball hit the right post on the wrong side and went out. Alparslan Yordam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 18 minutes into the match, F.C.GALA's goal looked a bit too open when Kürşat Ahi came free, but Ahmet Nedim Turatekin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arif Bilge Sertaç succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 19th playminute. Kürşat Ahi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Nedim Turatekin having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, F.C.GALA's goalkeeper Ahmet Nedim Turatekin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arif Bilge Sertaç. Ahmet Oğuz Kutlualp hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Ahmet Nedim Turatekin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kürşat Ahi, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Erzurum Spor FK's Alparslan Yordam got his second yellow card of the match in the 34th minute. The referee ordered Alparslan Yordam off the ground. The supporters of F.C.GALA booed when Erzurum Spor FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alparslan Yordam didn't get a good kick on the ball. When F.C.GALA's Recep Tayyip Karaman, in the 36th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for F.C.GALA. After a rather tough play, Erzurum Spor FK's Kürşat Ahi got a free kick in the 40th minute. If Arif Bilge Sertaç had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arif Bilge Sertaç fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Nedim Turatekin having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Arif Bilge Sertaç recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ersin Beşir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. In the 64th minute, Arif Bilge Sertaç got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 66th minute, Arif Bilge Sertaç ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ahmet Nedim Turatekin was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arif Bilge Sertaç in the 76th minute of play forced F.C.GALA's goalkeeper Ahmet Nedim Turatekin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arif Bilge Sertaç received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. F.C.GALA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. In the 89th minute, Arif Bilge Sertaç got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Erzurum Spor FK booed when F.C.GALA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yenal Vedatoğulları didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd minute Arif Bilge Sertaç shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Nedim Turatekin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Recep Tayyip Karaman came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the F.C.GALA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Recep Tayyip Karaman couldn't finish the play.
