Kumkapi FK's Naim Korur got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruhi Ceberut in the 16th minute of play forced Kumkapi FK's goalkeeper Nazil Tatar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 18 played minutes Catak got a freekick which was hit by Tuncay Sarbay. When Poyraz Yücetekin fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kumkapi FK's protests and gave Poyraz Yücetekin a yellow card for diving instead. In the 20th match minute, Kumkapi FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Poyraz Yücetekin to maneuver through the defense. Necmettin Ağca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kerem Erseç in the 24th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Catak's goalkeeper Necmettin Ağca had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ferit Tezeren. Kerem Erseç received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Necmettin Ağca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kumkapi FK's goalkeeper Nazil Tatar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match clock showed 46 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Selami Delioğlu sped through Kumkapi FK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nazil Tatar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ruhi Ceberut to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Catak defense, Kerem Erseç kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Necmettin Ağca. The Catak fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Necmettin Ağca should have stopped the shot. In the 57th minute of the match Hasan Tahsin Bergin shot from a long distance. A very good chance. Kerem Erseç fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Necmettin Ağca having to interfere. Necmettin Ağca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferit Tezeren in the 80th minute of play. Ferit Tezeren struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Necmettin Ağca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kumkapi FK. Kumkapi FK's Kerem Erseç got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Emirhan Atasan fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Catak's protests and gave Emirhan Atasan a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Catak's Emirhan Atasan got a free kick in the 87th minute. Ferit Tezeren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 92 minutes into the game, Kağan Usluer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Catak's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kumkapi FK the free kick. The supporters of Kumkapi FK booed when Catak was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kağan Usluer didn't get a good kick on the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Catak's goal looked a bit too open when Kerem Erseç came free, but Necmettin Ağca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Catak players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Kumkapi FK from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
