In the 17th minute, Selami Delioğlu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Catak fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Işık Tulunay scored 2-2 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Necmettin Ağca, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Selami Delioğlu struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. İsmail Mahmut didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Catak. Catak's Mehmet Ferit Soysan suffered a sore thigh after 30 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 30 minutes, Emir Akartürk mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ümitköy JK and the Catak players grew even worse after the yellow card. Emir Akartürk kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Necmettin Ağca made an important save on a dangerous shot by Işık Tulunay in the 37th minute. When Selami Delioğlu fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Catak's protests and gave Selami Delioğlu a yellow card for diving instead. Necmettin Ağca made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Işık Tulunay sent off a good shot on target. Üzeyir Uluöz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

If Emir Akartürk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Catak's Selami Delioğlu got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 56th minute, Emirhan Atasan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. İsmail Mahmut was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. İsmail Mahmut took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruhi Ceberut, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Catak's zone, Üzeyir Uluöz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Necmettin Ağca came out of the goal and Üzeyir Uluöz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ahmet Çağrı Bayram received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. In the 86th match minute, Catak was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruhi Ceberut to maneuver through the defense. Necmettin Ağca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Üzeyir Uluöz in the 87th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Selami Delioğlu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of İsmail Mahmut. Ümitköy JK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Selami Delioğlu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. Selami Delioğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Ümitköy JK supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Catak's performance. The match ended with a win for Catak.
